This book reviews one of the great works of our time - Frankl's moving and honest account of his time in several Nazi concentration camps, and the refinement of his approach to psychotherapy - Logotherapy.  Frankl accounts in detail the 'multitude of small torments' that he and others endured.  Through all this time he remains focused on his goal of not just surviving but returning to his life in Vienna - to his wife and family and his work.  He realises that with meaning and purpose one can survive almost all deprivation, degradation and horror.  This book, despite its subject, is hopeful and inspirational, and Frankl's life and work after his liberation from the camps is a testament to our innate ability to survive, adapt, and thrive.
