Blitzscaling: The lightning fast path to building massively valuable companies was written by Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn and a venture capitalist with Greylock Partners. The book sets up the way to build just this - massive companies, relying on anecdotes and stories from a small set of iconic Silicon Valley companies. The book seems to be based on a class that Hoffman teaches at Stanford Business School. While interesting, the book is stacked up with (to my mind) far too many layers of rules, principles and approaches. Clearly, Hoffman knows what he is talking about but doesn't seem to have the ability to bring this across in an accessible manner. There are some useful principles all the same and I share the ten that popped out for me in this podcast.
