The book Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg presents a framework for behaviour change, suggesting that rather than looking for large scale change in our lives, which is often unsustainable, we seek out tiny habits – small actions that if taken together and over time, will yield personal transformation. Through a deceptively simple formula, Fogg argues that changes in behaviour comes about through motivation, ability and prompt converging at the same instant. That’s pretty much it – the book has plenty examples and lists of small actions one can take (these are included as a link from the companion infographic). An interesting idea and certainly worth trying, but this may be a little over simplified for the complexity of human behaviour. Enjoy the podcast!
