Chase’s book, Peers Inc, is an essential guide to those wanting to understand the sharing or collaborative economy. Chase started Zipcar, an early sharing company, that predates Uber and Airbnb, and in this book brings her considerable intellect and understanding to unpacking this collaborative economy. While not a recent book, her observations and insights are highly relevant, not just to entrepreneurs, but to those of us (like Chase) who are concerned about large-scale systemic problems and are seeking solutions that are cost-effective and able to scale. In this podcast I not only review the book, but provide the necessary ingredients (according to Chase) for how to build Peers Inc. platforms.
